Wilson at home first with Aunty Jane
We are blessed with access to our own family midwife. My aunt, Jane, has been a nurse for more than 40 years, a midwife for the most part of that and for the last 25 years or more, a maternal health nurse. Her help in settling Wilson and TK has been great.
On the day TK came and Wilson came home Jane travelled down the highway to assist.

posted bystavWilson went down last night. Went down like a sack of spuds. TK has started a new routine and upped the food volume and it worked. Last night was the best one yet. Two solid blocks of sleep, hardly any crying and a very happy and contented fellow. He’s on a feeding program for newborns from 1 - 8 weeks old and is starting a new routine today for babies over their birth weight and over 3 kg.
Last night was also our first outing. My cousin Jacky had a 40th and Wilson made his first public appearence. The best part about best feeding babes is they are extremely portable. Apart from a nappy bag and a capsule, everything is all wrapped up in a tidy “double barreled” package.
